Elect Chair and Vice Chair <br />REPORTS <br />1) <br />LAND USE PERMIT ACTIVITY REPORT (10 minutes) – Rosalind Newlon, NKCDP Project <br />Manager will report on Planning Dept. permits received in the previous month for the North <br />Kohala district. <br />2) <br />INVESTIGATIVE COMMITTEE WILL PROVIDE AN UPDATE ON THE PLANS FOR A <br />COMMUNITY MEETING AND IMPROVING COMMUNICATIONS WITHIN THE <br />COMMUNITY(15 minutes) -The investigative committee will provide an update and <br />recommendations to the AC Members on the plans for a community meeting and improving <br /> <br />communications within the community. <br />NEW BUSINESS: <br />3) <br />PUBLIC ACCESS, OPEN SPACE & NATURAL RESOURCES PRESERVATION <br />COMMISSION (PONC) (15 minutes) – PONC Commissioner, Gail Byrne Baber, shall <br />provide the Action Committee with a brief presentation about the Commission and its <br />process for solicitation of suggestions from the community for PONC to recommend priorities <br />for County purchase of lands.
