<br /> <br /> <br />NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING AND HEARINGS <br /> <br />WINDWARD PLANNING COMMISSION <br />COUNTY OF HAWAI‘I <br /> <br /> <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of the following matters to be considered by the Windward <br />Planning Commission of the County of Hawai‘i in accordance with the provisions of Chapters 91 <br />and 92, Hawai‘i Revised Statutes, Section 6-7.5(a) of the Charter of the County of Hawai‘i, and <br />the Planning Commission’s Rules of Practice and Procedure. <br /> <br />DATE: <br /> Thursday, April 18, 2013 <br /> <br /> TIME: <br />9:00 a.m. <br /> <br />PLACE: <br />County of Hawai‘i Aupuni Center Conference Room <br />101 Pauahi Street, Hilo, HI 96720 <br /> <br />STATEMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC – Note that statements from the public regarding <br />any particular item on this agenda will be taken at the time the particular item is called to <br />order. <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS – 9:00 a.m. <br /> ELECTION OF OFFICERS FOR 2013 <br />1. <br /> <br /> APPLICANT: STATE OF HAWAI‘I DEPARTMENT OF ACCOUNTING AND <br />2. <br />GENERAL SERVICES (DAGS) (USE 13-038) <br /> <br />Use Permit application to allow the construction of a 75-foot tall, self supported <br />telecommunication tower with mounted antennas and related structures and uses on <br />approximately 10,155 square feet of land within the State Land Use Agricultural District. <br />The area involved is located approximately 1,300 feet northwest of the intersection of <br />Komohana Street and Puainako Street Extension, Waiākea, South Hilo, Hawai‘i, <br />TMK: 2-4-001:Portions of 040 and 170. <br /> <br /> APPLICANT: NOBUCHIKA SANTO (SLU 13-007/REZ 13-161) <br />3. <br />Applications for a State Land Use Boundary Amendment from the Agricultural to Urban <br />District and a Change of Zone from an Agricultural-1 acre (A-1a) to a Single-Family <br />Residential–15,000 square feet (RS-15) zoning district for approximately 1 acre of land. The <br />subject property is located along the south side of Ainako Avenue, approximately 360 feet <br />stnd <br />west from its intersection with Kokea Street, Punahoa 1 and 2, South Hilo, Hawai‘i, <br />TMK: 2-5-023: 015. <br /> <br /> <br />
