She explained that if this were to <br />28 ever happen, that the Action Committee could fill out a simple form for <br />29 review if they deem a specific parcel in need of protection from development. <br />30 2.Bill Case, gave the AC an overview of the Waimea water system, past, present <br /> <br />31 and future. The Action Committee asked questions and there was discussion <br />32 on budget, water department meetings, and possible ways to implement a <br />33 warning system when there is a major decrease in water. <br />34 3.Vas Podorean and Lani Yamasaki, spoke in regards to Liquid Robotics, a <br /> <br />35 partner of the South Kohala Conservation Action Plan. They have been <br />36 conducting water quality monitoring at the request of Kailapa Community <br />37 Association and Puako Community Association and volunteer with NOAA to <br />38 serve on rescue missions for marine mammals along the west coast of Hawaii <br />39 Island. <br />40 They explained wave powered data collection, how they are monitoring the <br />41 ocean and water quality, and how it pertains to the CDP.
