Motion passed unanimously. <br />APPROVAL OF ADDENDUM AND/OR SUPPLEMENTAL AGENDA: <br />3.Commission <br />Erway requested that New Business items requiring action and decision making be taken out <br />of order before she had to depart the meeting early, while there was still a quorum of <br />commission members in attendance. <br />CORRESPONDENCE/REPORTS/DISCUSSION: <br />5.(taken out of order) <br />Abandoned Vehicle Program Report <br /> (attached to original minutes) <br />The staff is monitoring the new towing contractor, West Coast Towing. <br />Solid Waste Division Report <br /> (attached to original minutes) <br />TRANSFER STATIONS <br />The Ocean View Transfer Station Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) can be viewed on <br />the Department website. <br />Waimea Transfer Station is being expanded. The recycle area is being moved and gravel is <br />being put down. A new bumper is also being installed. <br />New concrete pads and ramps are being installed at Honokaa Transfer Station. <br />Bi-monthly status reports are being provided to Council members in whose districts the <br />working is being done. The report is also included in the weekly county newsletter and will <br />be emailed to Commission members whose district transfer stations are being impacted. <br />RECYCLING AND DIVERSION PROGRAMS <br />A Big Island recycling fair is being discussed. <br />Instructions for paint disposal were provided. <br /> <br />
