Marjorie <br />Erway seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously. <br />APPROVAL OF ADDENDUM AND/OR SUPPLEMENTAL AGENDA <br />3.: None. <br />STATEMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC ON ITEMS LISTED ON AGENDA <br />4.: <br />Rene Siracusa and Louise Winn spoke in support of Resolution EMC2004-08 and <br />urged commissioners to recommend and support this abandoned vehicle amnesty <br />program as a Pilot Project. <br />CORRESPONDENCE/REPORTS/DISCUSSION: <br />5. <br />The department director and division chiefs will provide bullet reports, excluding <br />routine matters, and highlighting actions that occurred since the last meeting. <br />Director’s Report <br />(attached to original minutes) <br />HAWAI`I DEPOSIT BEVERAGE CONTAINER PROGRAM (BOTTLE BILL) UPDATE (6. <br />UNFINISHED BUSINESS item taken out of order). (Facts Sheet attached to original <br />minutes.) <br />An update was given that included information on redemption centers, implementation <br />dates. <br />Dates for the Beverage Container Deposit Program Demo Project: <br />- November 29 – December 3, 2004: Keaau Recycling & Reuse Center <br />- December 5, 2004: Hilo Transfer Station <br />- December 6 - 11, 2004: Kealakehe Transfer Station <br /> <br />
