He thanked Riley <br />Smith and David Frankel for their leadership as past Chair and Vice Chair of the <br />commission. <br />2.APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF JULY 28, 2004 MEETING: <br />Riley Smith made a motion to approve the July 28, 2004 minutes. Sam Kawamura <br />seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously. <br />3.APPROVAL OF ADDENDUM AND/OR SUPPLEMENTAL AGENDA: <br />Commissioner Smith made a motion to add the Waste Reduction Technology Request <br />for ProposaltotheNEW BUSINESS agenda. Lorraine Stahr seconded the motion <br />and it passed unanimously. Commissioner Stahr made a motion to move the Bottle <br />Bill out of the Directors Report and put in NEW BUSINESS. Smith seconded the <br />motion and it passed unanimously. <br />4.STATEMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC ON ITEMS LISTED ON AGENDA: None. <br />5.CORRESPONDENCE/REPORTS/DISCUSSION: <br />Directors Report (attached to original minutes) <br />BellintroducedCindyRobinson,projectmanagerforTheArcofHilo,AnneField-Gomesand <br />Carmen Kinsey of Recycle Hawai`i. <br />COMMISSION: <br />th <br />TheOctober13SolidWasteandWastewaterTourwasdiscussedandatentativeitinerary <br />· <br />was distributed. <br /> <br />
