Josh Stanbro gives an update: amicus brief to support the Honolulu case at the State Court. <br /> Same attorneys will volunteer their time if HSAC is supportive to put in an amicus brief at <br /> the federal court level. Questions are: is HSAC in support of tapping the same attorneys to <br /> file an amicus brief for the federal court? Maui County's case is coming up in state court. <br /> The attorneys said they would be willing to refile the amicus brief that was filed on behalf <br /> of Honolulu. Is HSAC willing to support Maui as well? <br /> CMKing moves to support both Honolulu ad Maui County court cases and filing of amicus <br /> briefs. Seconded by CM Waters. Approved with no objections. <br /> c. Communication from Sharon Ibarra State Boards and Commission Office requesting a <br /> nomination from Hawai'i State Association of Counties for the Hawai'i Sister State <br /> Committee: <br /> CM Chock- Deadline of next month and will forward any specific communications he has <br /> received. CMKimball- recommends Jane Clemet who is an Exec Assistant to Mayor Roth. <br /> She manages Sister City Program and does a fantastic job. Please send suggestions of <br /> nominations. <br /> Motion to receive and was approved with no objections. <br /> VI. OLD BUSINESS <br /> No Items. <br /> VII.
