6. January 14,2014: The Planning Director issued Final Plan Approval (PLA-13-000999) <br /> for the development of the medical facility and related improvements. <br /> 7. March 1, 2019: The Planning Director issued Final Plan Approval (PLA-18-001583) to <br /> allow the development of community buildings including a two (2) community center <br /> structures, a pavilion, stand-alone restrooms, and an admissions kiosk totaling 2,240 <br /> square feet of structures. This Final Plan Approval was issued under an Emergency <br /> Proclamation by then Mayor Harry Kim dated December 6, 2018. This Final Plan <br /> Approval rescinded PLA-13-000999. <br /> 8. March 8, 2019: Date of issuance for building permit number BH2019-00237 for new <br /> men's and women's restroom facilities for the cultural center with ADA lavatories. <br /> Construction of these facilities has yet to commence. <br /> 9. May 23, 2019: Final inspection/certificate of occupancy date for new cultural center <br /> buildings No. 1 and No. 2., which were each constructed with an open-covered lanai and <br /> open-covered entry area and no plumbing. Each structure totals 720 square feet in size. <br /> 10. June 3, 2019: Final inspection/certificate of occupancy date for a new admissions kiosk <br /> totaling 64 square feet and a new pavilion totaling 800 square feet related to the cultural <br /> center. <br /> STATE AND COUNTY PLANS <br /> 11. State Land Use District: Urban. <br /> 12. General Plan LUPAG Map Designation: Medium Density Urban. <br /> 13. County Zoning: Single-Family Residential= 10,000 square feet (RS-10). <br /> 14. - Puna Community Development Plan(CDP): The Puna CDP was adopted by the <br /> Hawai`i County Council, Ordinance 08 116, on September 10, 2008, and was amended <br /> on November 4, 2010 by Ordinance No. 10-104; June 8, 2011 by Ordinance Nos. 11-51, <br /> 11-52, & 11-53; and December 6, 2011 by Ordinance No. 11-117 & 11-118. The subject <br /> property is located within the CDP designated Pahoa Regional Town Center. <br /> 15. Pahoa Village Design (PVD) District: The subject property is situated within the PVD <br /> District, thus any structures built on the property are subject to review against the PVD <br /> Guidelines and approval by the Pahoa Village Design Review Committee. <br /> -3- <br />
