DETAILS OF PROPOSED USE/ DEVELOPMENT <br /> 1. Applicant's Request <br /> RJL, LLC, hereinafter referred to as "Applicant", is requesting a change of zone for <br /> 13.838 acres of land, hereinafter referred to as "Project Site", from an Agricultural- <br /> 3 acres (A-3a) to a Single-Family Residential-15,000 square feet minimum lot size (RS-15) <br /> zoning district in order to allow for the subdivision of the subject property into 33 single- <br /> family residential lots with lot sizes ranging from a minimum of 1S,000 square feet to <br /> just under 31,000 square feet. <br /> 2. Location of Proiect Site <br /> The Project Site is located within the upper part of the City of Hilo approximately <br /> 3.25 miles south from Downtown Hilo and within the Waiakea Homesteads 211d Series. <br /> More specifically, the Project Site is located at the southwestern corner of the Haihai <br /> Street and Ainaola Drive intersection and identified as Tax Map Key No. 2-4-039:025, as <br /> shown below in Figure 1 —Regional Location Map and Figure 2 —Area Location Map. <br /> 4,. <br /> A <br /> 1 <br /> PROJECT SITE <br /> Figure 1—Regional Location Map <br /> 1Page <br />
