DETAILS OF PROPOSED USE/DEVELOPMENT <br /> 1. Applicant's Request <br /> Arte McCollough, hereinafter referred to as "Applicant", is requesting two land use <br /> district boundary amendments for 5.848 acres of land in order to facilitate its <br /> subdivision into two (2) lots that will each accommodate an existing single-family <br /> dwelling. More specifically, the Applicant is requesting a State Land Use District <br /> Boundary amendment from the Agricultural to the Rural District, and an accompanying <br /> change of zone from an Agricultural-5 acres (A-5a)to a Residential Agricultural (RA-2a) <br /> zoning district. <br /> The primary purpose for these requests is solely for estate planning purposes as the <br /> subject property currently consists of two (2) condominium property regimes (CPRS) <br /> consisting of approximately 2.9-acres each, with each CPR unit accommodating one of <br /> the two existing single-family dwellings. <br /> 2. General Information <br /> The subject property is a two-unit Condominium Property Regime (CPR) known as the <br /> Kanehoa Pennington Condominium. Kelly and Sharon Moran are owners of Unit 1 <br /> (2.913 acres) and the Arte McCollough and Cathleen Curtis-McCollough Trust are <br /> owners of Unit 2 (2.935 acres). <br /> 3. Location of Property <br /> The subject property is located in the Kanehoa Subdivision on the south side of <br /> Kawaihae Road approximately across from the 62-mile marker in `Ouli, South Kohala, <br /> Hawaii TMK: 6-2-009:009 (refer to Figure 1- Location Map and Figure 2—Vicinity Map <br /> below. <br /> 1 ( <br />
