Satisfactory <br /> inspection, testing, and maintenance system's tests shall have an approved <br /> inspection label affixed to the fire pump controller. The label shall follow the <br /> guidelines found in the water-based fire extinguishing systems inspection labels, <br /> tags, and collars." An annual inspection, testing, and maintenance shall be <br /> conducted by the certificate of fitness holder. If, during use, the hydrant does not <br /> perform adequately, it shall be tested and, if needed, restored to its proper <br /> operation by a licensed certificate of fitness holder." [2018 HSFC: 601 <br /> "13.5.4.4 Fire hydrants that fail the inspection, test, and maintenance shall <br /> have a readily visible, attached"OUT OF SERVICE" sign. The sign shall have a <br /> yellow background with black letters and be constructed of wood, metal, or <br /> plastic. The letters shall be a minimum height of three inches and a minimum <br /> width of one-fourth of an inch stroke.
