vNZYF°F`:1!y <br /> 1dr,e, <br /> WCOUNTY F HAWAN *° e* STATE OF HAWAVI <br /> 1T�0;140'x' <br /> SOLUTION NO. 177 23 <br /> RESOLUTION T RI I INTO A <br /> MULTI-YEAR AGREEMENT I THE OFFICEF THE AUDITOR, <br /> STATE F HAWAII <br /> WHEREAS, the Department of Finance wishes to enter into a multi-year <br /> agreement for three (3) years with the Office of the Auditor, State of Hawaii; and <br /> WHEREAS, the agreement will allow the County to request that the Office of the <br /> Auditor, State of Hawaii, to conduct an audit of the schedule of changes in fiduciary net <br /> position by employer and related notes to the schedule of the Hawaii Employer-Union <br /> Health Benefits Trust Fund (EUTF) and examination report on census data in order to <br /> meet the reporting requirements under Governmental Accounting Standards board <br /> (GASB) Statement No. 75; and <br /> WHEREAS, Section 14-11 of the County Charter requires that any contract, lease <br /> or other obligation requiring payment of funds from the appropriations of a later fiscal <br /> year or of more than one fiscal year be approved by resolution; and <br /> WHEREAS, Hawaii Revised Statutes, Section 46-7, requires that County <br /> departments obtain the consent of the council to enter into agreements with the federal <br /> or state governments respecting action to be taken pursuant to any of the powers <br /> granted by law to furnish, expend, and receive any funds or other assistance in <br /> connection with projects being or to be undertaken pursuant to those powers; now, <br /> therefore, <br />
