REQUEST: <br />I am seeking to create a Human Resources Specialist If position for the Hawaii Police Department, <br />B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED) <br />This position is necessary to support this department and its employees with the coming expansions in future <br />_ terms of sworn and civilian (25 positions) this coming fiscal year and the following (40 positions). The existing <br />Human Resources team is at Its limits, with only four staff members for such a large department that already <br />employs six hundred forty (640).
