Public Works, and will support investigations of reported crimes and help inform resource <br /> allocation for initiatives to address homelessness, mental health support,medical assistance, <br /> housing, and social services in Lower Puna; and <br /> WHEREAS, under chapter 2, article 36, section 2-181(5) of the Code, allowable <br /> expenditures of the Geothermal Relocation and Community Benefits Fund for public purposes <br /> include, but are not limited to, road improvements, water infrastructure, land acquisition,parks <br /> and recreational facility needs, civil defense, and mass transit improvements in Lower Puna; <br /> now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I that, <br /> pursuant to chapter 2, article 25, section 2-139(a)(3)(A) of the Code, the Planning Director is <br /> hereby authorized to provide a grant of$65,000 to Pahoa Lava Zone Museum for the purposes <br /> hereinabove described and further authorized to make the necessary expenditures out of and <br /> from the Geothermal Relocation and Community Benefits Fund in accordance with the terms of <br /> this resolution. <br /> BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward a copy of this <br /> resolution to the Honorable Mitchell D.
