PFAS <br /> presentation pending, did not receive many RSVPs for the one that was scheduled, encourage <br /> HSAC EC to connect directly. Future presentation on AI from a NACo vendor who could present <br /> in the future. <br /> Inquiry on the 501(c)(3) versus (c)(6). <br /> Clarification needed on HSAC reimbursement, does nto include HSAC conference but does <br /> include the HSAC EC meeting as either one day visit or one overnight. <br /> Pending NACo reimbursement for NACo CEO and Vice President. <br /> Upcoming plan for DC legislative breakfast. The following is a summary of the work being <br /> conducted by the Executive Director. <br /> Reminders <br /> • Coordinate the Pearl Harbor tour suggested by CM Tyler Dos-Santos Tam. <br /> • Working on building out the website to include info on HSAC members'roles with NACo <br /> committees and awards that they receive. <br /> • Looking into a corporate sponsor program, including sponsors for the HSAC website, <br /> follow up on asking OCS for advice. <br /> • Pending presentations from Customs and Border Protection. <br /> • Discussion on 501(c)(3) versus 501(c)(6). <br /> • Will be doing a quarterly review (December) of the budget and sharing with the HSAC <br /> EC on where we are with our projected vs. actual spending. <br /> • Clarify the reimbursement for the HSAC annual conference versus HSAC EC meetings. <br /> • Planning and organizing the breakfast at the NACo legislative conference in D.C., <br /> February 2024. <br /> 1.
