The following is a summary of the <br /> work being conducted by the Executive Director. <br /> Reminders <br /> • Coordinate the Pearl Harbor tour suggested by CM Tyler Dos-Santos Tam. <br /> • Working on building out the website to include info on HSAC members'roles with NACo <br /> committees and awards that they receive. <br /> • Looking into a corporate sponsor program, including sponsors for the HSAC website, <br /> follow up on asking OCS for advice. <br /> • Discussion on 501(c)(3) versus 501(c)(6). <br /> • Will be doing a quarterly review (January) of the budget and sharing with the HSAC EC <br /> on where we are with our projected vs. actual spending. <br /> • Planning and organizing the reception event at the NACo legislative conference in D.C., <br /> February 2024. <br /> 1. Executive Committee Officers Support: <br /> President Support: <br /> o Drafted HSAC agenda with follow up to collect all relevant attachments. <br /> o Followed up with each county on their slate of officers resolution. <br /> Secretary Support: <br /> o Meetings with the Secretary's team to review and plan updates to the website. <br /> o Sent out reminders about the next HSAC EC meeting. <br /> Treasurer Support: <br /> o Working with the Treasurer and staff to update the signature cards so we can <br /> request bank statements from 2015-2019. Need to remove former Treasurer, <br /> Tommy Waters and former President Mason Chock from the signature card. <br /> o Following up with the accountant from Carbonara on the 2019 discrepancy, they <br /> requested bank statements from 2015-2019 in order to resolve a lump sum <br /> adjustment. <br /> o Audit-Brian Van Camp has been confirmed. They will begin the audit once they <br /> receive the report from the Carbonara accountant. No agreement has been signed <br /> yet, as they will wait until we are ready to begin to send it over as a third of the <br /> payment for services will be due at that time. <br /> o Reviewed the Treasurer's report. <br /> o Maintenance of HSAC QuickBooks records. Completed reconciliation of last <br /> month's transactions in Quickbooks. <br /> o Processed reimbursements and invoices and uploaded documentation to the <br /> HSAC google drive as well as sent out copies of the documentation to the HSAC <br /> President. <br />
