Fundraising Plan o Conducted several planning meetings for the DC reception which will be focused on fundraising as well as hosting a successful networking event. o Building out the website is the key initial step in developing a corporate partnership program. Meetings to be scheduled with other state associations to review their websites and learn more about how they structure their programs. o Reviewing options for a conference booklet which will help generate revenue. o Inquiring with other associations on potential grant funding opportunities. o ED drafted a corporate partner outline, once the meetings with other states have been conducted, will submit this to the EC for review and consideration. 3. Legislative Update:Followed up with each county on the status of their legislative proposals and to ensure they emailed them directly to the HSAC President. 4. Conference Update: o Working on getting an IRS letter showing 501(c)(3)status. o Joined the conference planning meeting to review what vendors were used, WHOVA, Eventbrite, and Golfiatus. o ED has started a conference guidebook containing a timeline of events and key elements that need to be planned out. ED report received. f. Legislative Report Jon Okudara: Working on draft testimony. CM Kimball: Working on a clean water protection fee (toilet tax)fee tied to conversion, minimal at first and would og into a fund to help people with the conversion. Also working with the office on planning for mechanisms on land use from ag to rural,so you could have ADU units. Looking at requiring denitrification as well as septic in some areas.
