Fundraising Plan <br /> o Conducted several planning meetings for the DC reception which will be focused <br /> on fundraising as well as hosting a successful networking event. <br /> o Building out the website is the key initial step in developing a corporate <br /> partnership program. Meetings to be scheduled with other state associations to <br /> review their websites and learn more about how they structure their programs. <br /> o Reviewing options for a conference booklet which will help generate revenue. <br /> o Inquiring with other associations on potential grant funding opportunities. <br /> o ED drafted a corporate partner outline, once the meetings with other states have <br /> been conducted, will submit this to the EC for review and consideration. <br /> 3. Legislative Update:Followed up with each county on the status of their legislative <br /> proposals and to ensure they emailed them directly to the HSAC President. <br /> 4. Conference Update: <br /> o Working on getting an IRS letter showing 501(c)(3)status. <br /> o Joined the conference planning meeting to review what vendors were used, <br /> WHOVA, Eventbrite, and Golfiatus. <br /> o ED has started a conference guidebook containing a timeline of events and key <br /> elements that need to be planned out. <br /> ED report received. <br /> f. Legislative Report <br /> Jon Okudara: Working on draft testimony. <br /> CM Kimball: Working on a clean water protection fee (toilet tax)fee tied to conversion, minimal <br /> at first and would og into a fund to help people with the conversion. Also working with the office <br /> on planning for mechanisms on land use from ag to rural,so you could have ADU units. Looking <br /> at requiring denitrification as well as septic in some areas. <br /> Legislative update received. <br /> V. UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> VI. NEW BUSINESS <br />
