Brown <br />Depito, Director <br />Enclosed is a resolution to enter into an agreement with the Corporation for National and <br />Community Service ("AmeriCorps"). This is a cost -share agreement to provide the <br />County of Hawaii with up to ten Volunteers in Service to America (VISTA) members to <br />perform volunteer services in Hawaii County to strengthen and supplement efforts to <br />eliminate poverty -related human, social, and environmental problems. The County will <br />be funding up to two AmeriCorps VISTA members at a cost up to $45,764 and the <br />assignment of up to eight additional members will be supported by AmeriCorps. <br />If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to call Douglass Adams of the <br />Department of Research and Development at 961-8366. <br />Diane to wa <br />Director of Finance <br />Enc. <br />Comm.
