Brown <br />Deputy Director <br />Enclosed is a resolution authorizing the payment of funds for more than one fiscal year, <br />for a multi -year agreement for a city -scale reusable foodware and refillable bottle system <br />for the Department of Environmental Management. This three-year agreement with two - <br />one year option periods will be to establish reusable foodware systems that support the <br />county's efforts to reduce waste and pollution, reduce net life cycle Greenhouse Gas <br />emissions, reduce net lifecycles water usage, and create local service jobs, compared to <br />disposable alternatives. <br />The Department of Environmental Management requests that a breach be authorized to <br />submit this resolution after the October 30, 2024 submission deadline and that it be <br />waived from the Finance Committee and be placed on the November 20, 2024 Council <br />agenda in order to expedite this transaction.
