COUNTY OF HAWAI`I <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />STATE OF HAWAI`I <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A MULTI- <br />YEAR AGREEMENT FOR A FACILITIES CONDITIONS ASSESSMENT <br />AND ENERGY MANAGEMENT PLAN FOR HAWAVI COUNTY <br />FACILITIES <br />WHEREAS, Section 10-11 of the County Charter requires that any contract, <br />lease or other obligation requiring payment of funds from the appropriations of a later <br />fiscal year or of more than one fiscal year be approved by resolution; and <br />WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii Office of Sustainability, Climate, Equity and <br />Resilience desires to enter into a multi -year agreement for one (1) year and six (6) <br />months for a Facilities Conditions Assessment and Energy Management Plan for <br />County of Hawaii facilities; and <br />WHEREAS, this service will assess County facilities to improve the identification <br />and prioritization of infrastructure projects for CIP and maintenance purposes, <br />streamline the process of identifying facilities for eligible energy efficiency and <br />maintenance purposes, and optimize County energy efficiency efforts for future energy <br />and cost savings; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I: <br />1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a one (1) year and six (6) <br />months agreement, for the purpose as described above for the Office of <br />Sustainability, Climate, Equity and Resilience. <br />2. That sufficient funds be budgeted in future fiscal years to cover the <br />anticipated obligations of the County under the terms of the agreement. <br />
