KIMBALL: If I may, I would like to start right in with the amendments <br /> based on the discussion in the Committee hearing. <br /> Motion to Amend: Ms. Kimball moved to amend Bill 52, Draft 2, with the <br /> contents of Comm. 286.7. Seconded by Ms. Kagiwada. <br /> MS. KIMBALL: This amendment proposes to add back in specifically ducks, <br /> guinea hens, and quails as egg-producing poultry, while still excluding geese and <br /> turkey and the noisier variety of birds based on some of the conversation. Thank you. <br /> Question to the maker: The usage of the word"and"between guinea hens and <br /> quails, does that mean that to be in accordance with this legislation then,you need <br /> to have all of those birds in your hennery or that you can have—should it be more <br /> appropriate as an "or"? <br /> Page 30 <br />
