work on the Property in order to document the condition of the <br />Property prior to Permittee's use and approved improvements. <br />c) Contacting Owner Prior to Terminating Agreement. Permittee <br />will contact Owner's representative, Land Operations Manager <br />Dustyn Hirota atduhirota(a ksbe.edu, and Asset Manager Kelii <br />Kapali at takapali(rbksbe.edu prior to terminating this <br />Agreement in order to document any changes in the condition <br />of the Property and to ensure the conditions of this agreement <br />are met. <br />d) Removal of Improvements. Upon the expiration of this <br />Agreement or earlier termination as provided in this <br />Agreement, unless otherwise requested by Owner, Permittee <br />shall promptly remove all improvements constructed or <br />installed by Permittee from the Property and restore the <br />Property to its same or better condition as of the effective date <br />of this Agreement. <br />e) Extension. If this Agreement shall expire prior to fixing the <br />one -lane wooden bridge on Kalopa Road, Permittee has the <br />option to extend this Agreement for a longer period of time (the <br />"Extension Period"), not to exceed a total of five (5) years. <br />f) Scheduled Routine Maintenance: Required. Permittee shall <br />maintain or cause to be maintained the improved access road <br />and surrounding property the following once per month <br />( "Monthly Inspection"): <br />1. Drive and inspect the entire length of the road for any <br />signs of misuse or trespassing onto surrounding <br />Property. <br />2. Clear the road of vegetation from edge to edge and <br />maintain an additional five (5) foot buffer on both sides <br />of the road to keep the road and buffer free of <br />vegetation. <br />3. Identify, fill and/or repair any potholes in the road with <br />like material. <br />4. Identify and remove any dumping of trash including, <br />but not limited to, rubbish, household goods and <br />appliances, abandoned vehicles, and machines or parts, <br />and properly dispose of off Property. <br />5. Inspect condition of gates and gate locks to ensure they <br />remain operable and effective. <br />6.
