6. Chapter 6, Element 6.4, Section 6.4.2, is amended by amending the following language: <br />"Monitoring Mechanisms <br />Measurable indicators, or performance measures, will be used to monitor progress toward <br />the objectives. Examples of indicators that can be used to monitor the progress of <br />implementation have been provided in the table below. [However-, it <br />that kid:e..a,...s m vaiy over time .. «,...7e and eaeh de...... me.,t is <br />responsible _epei4in . en the :.,a:,...t,..... thatart-.reie..anl] Indicators shall be <br />standardized, consistently tracked, and publicly reported to ensure accountability and <br />comparability over time." <br />Chapter 6, Element 6.4, Section 6.4.2, is amended by amending the following language: <br />"Mayor's Annual Report <br />As part of the Mayor's Annual Report, the County Departments will prepare an <br />implementation status report annually serving to monitor progress towards achieving the <br />goals and objectives identified within the General Plan. [To the e.ae..t possible, the -epe <br />should eentain measurable indieaters related to the goals and objectives of the plans that <br />make up the County Plamiing S The County departments shall present a General <br />Plan implementation report to the County Council as part of the program review required <br />by section 3-16 of the Charter. The implementation report shall include: <br />• Progress toward established targets; <br />• Unmet obiectives: <br />• Recommended amendments or corrective actions; and <br />• Funding gaps." <br />8. Chapter 6, Element 6.4, Section 6.4.2, is amended by amending the following <br />"5 year Implementation Status Report <br />The Planning Director will include a 5-year status report as part of the Mayor's Annual <br />Report. This status report shall include the status of any urban development plans, <br />functional plans, special area plans, master plans, community development plans, and <br />related priority implementation actions. The director may also provide information <br />regarding the implementation of private development master plans in the 5-year <br />implementation status report. The 5-year implementation report shall include a formal <br />evaluation of whether the County is on track to meet adopted targets and shall <br />recommend policy or programmatic adjustments." <br />
