CIVIL SERVICE <br />CIVIL SERVICE <br />Program Highlights <br />Continue to provide violence in the workplace training. <br />Continue on-going tranung in personnel matters for County employees. <br />Continue implementing public employment reform by <br />implementing new rules, policies, and procedures to replace existing civil <br />service statutes and rules which will cease to exist on July 1, 2002, and to <br />implement new practices and procedures; <br />• negotiating with unions to provide for wages, hours, and other terms and <br />conditions of employment which may have been previously found in rules and <br />statutes designated to be repealed on July 1, 2002; and, <br />• providing for adjustments on wages, hours, and other terms and conditions of <br />employment for employees excluded from collective bargaining <br />15 <br />
