<br /> MASS TRANSIT <br /> The agency has increased its request for the shared-ride <br /> taxi program. <br /> Per their request, an unfunded Clerk position has been <br /> deleted. <br /> COUNTY PHYSICIANS <br /> The budget amendment reflects the adopted change in the time <br /> element of the County Physician. <br /> NONPROFIT GRANTS-IN-AID <br /> The appropriation for nonprofit grants has been allotted <br /> according to the Council's recommendations. <br /> PARKS AND RECREATION <br /> The Parks Department's budget has been amended to reflect a) <br /> line charges for video conferencing, b) conversion of a <br /> storage room into a police substation at Waiakea Uka Gym, <br /> and c) additional hours for the heavy-utilized Kona <br /> Community Aquatic Center. <br /> DEBT SERVICE <br /> The County's debt service requirements have been updated and <br /> adjusted to include the additional $8 million issue for the <br /> Department of Water Supply. <br /> <br /> MISCELLANEOUS <br /> The transfer to the Solid Waste Fund has been amended to <br /> fund the revision in the Solid Waste budget. <br /> The funding for the Reapportionment Commission has been <br /> increased per the request of the County Clerk. <br /> HIGHWAY FUND <br /> REVENUES: <br /> Revenue estimates for fuel taxes, public utilities franchise <br /> taxes, and fund balance carryover have been revised <br /> according to updated projections. <br /> <br />
