(for leasing warehouse space of approximately 2,450 square feet at a Makaala Street building by the County Clerk's Office Elections Division) From County Clerk Al Konishi, dated August 8, 2001, transmitting the above resolution. The present leasing contract will expire January 31, 2002. The rent, terms and conditions will remain the same as the Sublease Agreement. Comm. 312: RESOLUTION CLARIFYING THE TYPES OF SHORT TERM (Res. 113-01) INVESTMENTS OF COUNTY MONIES IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 46-50 OF THE HAWAII REVISED STATUTES From Director of Finance William Takaba, dated August 14, 2001, transmitting the above resolution. In 1992, the Council gave authorization on the types of short term investments which may be made, pursuant to Section 46-50 of the Hawaii Revised Statutes. In 1998, Section 46-50 was amended to expand the list of investment types and its maturity period. The County would now like to extend the previous authorization to include the investment types now listed in Section 46-50 as amended in 1998. The State of Hawaii Department of Transportation Motor Vehicle Safety Office is providing this grant to reduce traffic fatalities and injuries to all occupants and to increase seatbelt usage.
