No. 756/Bill No. 262 <br /> PLACE: Councilroom <br /> <br /> TIME: 9:05 a.m. <br /> Chair and Members <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> 1-silo, i-Iawai`i 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Public Works and Intergovernmental Relations, to which was referred <br /> Communication No. 756 and attached Bill No. 262, reports as follows: <br /> The purpose of Bill No. 227 is to amend Chapter 24, article 10, division 7, section 24-291.01, schedule <br /> 39.01 (2 hour meter parking zones), relating to Vehicles and Traffic of the Hawaii County Code 1983 <br /> (1995 Edition), by establishing a new 8-hour parking meter zone at the Aupuni Center fronting Kilauea <br /> Avenue and new two-hour parking areas along the Northwest (Pauahi Street) and Southwest (Kilauea <br /> Avenue) sides of the Aupuni Center Building. Communication No. 756 is from Dennis Lee, Director. <br /> Department of Public Works, dated September 23, 2002, transmitting the above bill for the Council's <br /> review and consideration. <br /> Bill No.262 was introduced by the Department of Public Works in place of Bill No. 227 regarding the <br /> same matter (Report No. 56). At this meeting, no discussion occurred regarding Bill No. 262. <br /> A motion to approve Bill No. 262 died for the lack of a second.
