Kawili Street Hilo, HI 96720-4091 <br /> Memorandum of Understanding <br /> This memorandum of understanding is betwoen Hawaii Community College and County of Hawaii <br /> Department of Research and Development in support of the establishment of a Hawaii County <br /> Resource Center (HCRC). <br /> 1. Hawaii Community College will: <br /> • Provide materials, supplies, and equipment as recoaunended by the County of Hawaii <br /> Department of Research and Development. Items include: computer units, printer, <br /> software programs and licenses, web subscription, materials for workstations, chairs, <br /> telephone units and other items. Estimated budget attached. <br /> • Provide technical support required to set-up, install, end maintain computer equipment. <br /> • Maintain inventory and retain ownership of equipment items as part of the University <br /> inventory until such time that it can be transferred to the County upon mutual agreement. <br /> [I. County of Hawaii Department of Research and Development will: <br /> • Establish and maintain a permanent errs designated for the Hawaii County Resource <br /> Center (HCRC). <br /> • Report any damage or malfunction of any of the materials, supplies, and equipment. <br /> • Provide access to the equipment for inventory process. <br /> • Provide aceess through an agreement process to conduct on-site training classes. <br /> • Enter data into the Rural Development Project web based data management program, <br /> HuiNet (Signed Participsat Consent Forms roquired). <br /> • Provide a brief semi-annual progrzsa report on utilization ofthe Hawaii County <br /> Resource Center (HCRC). <br /> III. AMENDMENT PROCEDURES <br /> This memorandum of understanding may be amended through a mutually acceptable written <br /> statement. <br /> iV.
