D.2 <br /> Thank you for the opportunity to review and comment on the subject traffic code amendment. <br /> The proposed amendment adequately addresses our concerns, as it clarifies that the owner of the <br /> private street, and not the County of Hawaii, is responsible for placing and maintaining traffic <br /> control devices on their private street. <br /> After this amendment is adopted, we plan to submit a traffic code amendment that will separate <br /> the private street schedules from the public street schedules to clearly differentiate the ownership <br /> and control of the various streets. <br /> Thank you for the comprehensive research and work you did in finalizing this amendment. <br /> ATTACH.
