These communities have formed ?on-profit groups, used their own monies to have the <br /> "road in limbo" surveyed and have been working diligently with the department for over a year. <br /> Ultimately, the administration will come forth to the council for approval of a donation of either <br /> cash or land from the commmnity group. <br /> <br /> 1'he administration is reviewing mayor issues, such as the extent of improvements for these <br /> "roads in ]imbo," given that the width of the road right-of-way of many of these roads does not <br /> <br /> meet current standards. [n addition, any policy for maintenance of these roads should be by <br /> ordinance. The administration is working toward that end but there is a need for attention to <br /> certain of these roads where the community has come forward and voluntarily asked the county <br /> to form a partnership. And so we are submitting the enclosed resolution with its list of interim <br /> criteria and look forward to working with the Council on its passage. <br /> APPROVED: <br /> BRUCE C. McCLURE, P. E.
