All such fittings, pipes, appliances shall remain the property ofthe <br /> Association and shall at all times be accessible to the Association, and under its control <br /> B. The service line from the point at or near the consumer's property line to the <br /> consumer's premises, and all necessary meters and meter boxes shall be laid, provided, <br /> and maintained by the consumer at the consumer's own cost The line shall be <br /> galvanized, of ample size, ofstandard weight and quality, and all cutoffs, valves, fixtures, <br /> meters, and appliances furnished by the consumer shall be ma;nta;ned in good order and <br /> condition. <br /> 6) LEAKS <br /> Any leak in any pipe or fixture on the prernises of the consumer shall be immediately <br /> repaired or caused to be repaired by the consumer at consumer's cost. Service may be <br /> discontinued by the Association until such repair is made. <br /> 7) INSPECTION <br /> All pipes, meters and fixtures shall, at all reasonable hours, be subject to inspection by <br /> the Association or its authorized agents. Consumer hereby grants a license to the <br /> Association for access to the premises for reading ofineters and/or inspection which <br /> license shall remain in full force and effect for the duration of this agreement. <br /> 8) DAMAGES <br /> A. The Association shall in no event be responsible for maintaining any service line or <br /> meter owned by the consumer, nor for damages done by water escaping from the same, <br /> nor for defects in lines or fixtures on the property of the consumer. The consumer shall at <br /> all times comply with all regulations of the Association, relating to the service lines, and <br /> shall make all changes in the consumer's lines required. <br /> B. All damage to service pipes or street mains caused by careless or negligerrt work or <br /> improper filling of excavations shall be chargeable to the person or persons causing such <br /> damage, and expenses of repairing the service pipes or street mains shall be recovered <br /> from such person or persons. <br /> 9) CONSUMERS <br /> A consumer is defined to be a person, firrr~ corporation or governmental entity taking <br /> water through a single service pipe for a single building or business. However: <br /> A. The owner of a single building used as a dwelling and occupied by one or more single <br /> persons or families, may connect such building, if not already connected, with the mains <br /> oftho Association and bo sorvod by n single xrvicc lint for which one uwiiuaau cLatge <br /> shall be paid, in which case the application for service shall be made by the owner or the <br /> owner's authorized agent and the bills for water shall be paid by the owner; <br /> <br />
