19. Fauna: No native fauna was observed on the site. Feral cats, rats, and mice are likely to <br />inhabit or utilize the area. <br />20. Archaeological Features: According to the November 27, 1992 letter from <br />Department of Land and Natural Resources -Historic Preservation Division, the subject <br />property was inspected by their staff March Smith, and no historic sites were present <br />on the parcel. (See Exhibit B - November 27, 1992 Letter). <br />21. Surrounding Land Uses/Zoning: The area surrounding the parcel is zoned <br />Agricultural -5a with property ranging in size of .5 acre to 12 acres. Kealakekua Bay <br />Estates Subdivision is located approximately 800 feet to the east of the subject parcel <br />and is zoned Agricultural -la. Uses in the area are in agricultural activities or vacant. <br />PUBLIC UTILITIES AND SERVICES <br />22. Roads: Access is off Napoopoo Road. Napoopoo Road has a 50 foot right-of-way. <br />23. Department of Health (February 13, 1997 Memo): <br />"Health Department found no environmental health concerns with regulatory <br />implications in the submittals." <br />26.
