The Contractor shall be responsible for all aspects of its <br /> operations and for complying with all applicable County, <br /> State and Federal, rules, regulations and laws. <br /> f. The contractor shall be responsible for obtaining all <br /> necessary governmental permits for all phases of its <br /> operations within ten (10) days of notification'of County's <br /> intent to award a contract. <br /> g. The Contractor's processing facility need not be located at <br /> County landfills. However, should a separate facility be <br /> constructed, the Contractor shall accept all vehicles towed <br /> by the County or private individuals to its facility. <br /> h. Unusable non-hazardous materials arising from his operations <br /> may be disposed in the working face of the County landfill, <br /> however, the Contractor shall make every effort to recycle <br /> such materials. <br /> i. The Contractor shall submit an operations plan with its bid <br /> submittal, which, as a minimum, shall include: <br /> (1) The number and descriptive function of each piece of <br /> equipment or vehicle available for the operations. <br /> (2) The number of employees on site intended for the <br /> operation. <br /> (3) A general description of the means of removal of the <br /> junked vehicles and materials from the County of Hawaii. <br /> (9) The method of shipping processed metal off the island <br /> along with estimated weekly tonnage, shipping schedules <br /> and intended destination of the processed metal. <br /> SPECIFICATIONS - 2 <br /> <br />
