. <br /> ~r <br /> s"`~~° <br /> <br /> x s <br /> (5) Whether operations will be simultaneous or alternating <br /> between the two landfills and whether private property <br /> or an area within each landfill will be utilized. if <br /> County facility is to be used, an indication of space <br /> needed and plot plan of equipment, processing and <br /> storage areas shall be included. <br /> j. It shall be the Contractor's responsibility to collect all <br /> freon from vehicles, refrigerators and other appliances. <br /> The Contractor shall handle and dispose of all freon in a <br /> manner complying with all applicable County, State and <br /> Federal regulations and laws. <br /> k. Any retail activity involving junked vehicles and/or <br /> salvaged parts sales is prohibited on County property. All <br /> activities involving dismantling parts of junked vehicles or <br /> dismantling parts of appliances for the purpose of resale of <br /> individual parts is not a part of this contract and shall be <br /> prohibited from taking place on County property. <br /> 1. All vehicle tires attached to junked vehicles shall become <br /> the property of the Contractor and shall be prohibited from <br /> being disposed of in any County landfill or transfer station. <br /> m. It shall be the Contractor's responsibility to remove normal <br /> garbage, trash, greenwaste or other unwanted material found <br /> in or attached to the junked vehicles, "white goods" and <br /> miscellaneous metals. The separated trash and garbage, <br /> etc., if found to be non-hazardous, shall be delivered to <br /> the working face of the landfill by the Contractor at the <br /> Contractor's expense; transfer station facilities will not <br /> be used. <br /> SPECIFICATIONS - <br /> <br />
