The Contractor shall remove and dispose of existing <br /> and future junked vehicles and waste metal as specified herein <br /> at the Hilo Landfill, Tmk: 3rd Div. 2-1-13:150, Wdiakea, South <br /> Hilo, Hawaii and the Kona Landfill, Tmk: 3rd Div. 7-9-08:16, <br /> Kealakehe, North Kona, Hawaii. Approximate location of the <br /> waste metals are shown on the attached Exhibits "A" and "B". <br /> 3. SiUHMITTALS. After contract award and prior to the start of any <br /> operations, the successful bidder shall submit two (2) sets of <br /> the following to the Solid Waste Division, Department of Public <br /> Works, County of Hawaii. <br /> a. WORKING HOURS. Working hours shall be established between <br /> the hours of 6:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. The Contractor's <br /> working hours, including any revisions which may occur <br /> during the course of this contract, shall be submitted to <br /> the County 48 hours before the commencement of any work. <br /> b. AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVES. 48 hours prior to the <br /> commencement of any work, the Contractor shall submit to the <br /> County the names, addresses and telephone numbers of at <br /> least two (2) authorized representatives who may be <br /> contacted at all times. <br /> c. OPERATING PLANS. Operating plans as submitted with the <br /> proposal shall be included. Any changes shall be submitted <br /> in advance and approved in writing by the Department of <br /> Public Works, in advance, prior to any enactment. <br /> d. CONSTRUCTION PLANS If County properties are used by the <br /> Contractor, any changes to the plot plan detailing the <br /> siting of equipment, storage areas, facilities, utilities <br /> and security measures to be installed shall be submitted for <br /> review and approval. <br /> SPECIFICATIONS - 4 <br /> <br />
