BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> <br /> Wal-Mart Hilo, as part of their community involvement program has donated monies totaling $1,500 to the <br /> Hawaii County Fire Department. The funds are to be used to purchase educational materials to be <br /> distributed to the public. $1,000 is earmarked for fire prevention, and $500 for health related issues.
