Their message has <br /> been consistent. Businesses support a reasonable sign code which protects the public welfate anal <br /> promotes our visitor industry, but their strong opposition to Bill 280 is due to the inclusion of <br /> excessive and unreasonable restrictions on small business which includes, but is nor: limited to, <br /> the following: <br /> ~ Kesuicting all signs to 12 sq. & within the Kailua Village Core <br /> Restricting busint:sses to one sign within the Kelton Village Core <br /> ~ Limiting the content of all signs to business name only within the Kailtta Village Cote <br /> Equivocal wdc regarding display of merchandise for sale at/on the storefront <br /> The attached Proposed amendments and supporting documents address the above issues.
