~v,or y <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII - STATE OF HAWAII <br /> oI.11?~ <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 28~ i)6 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION CREATING A PROPERTY MANAGER POSITION AND A CLERK III <br /> <br /> POSITION FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE <br /> WHEREAS, Ordinance 05-85 created the Public Access, Open Space, and Natural <br /> Resources Preservation Commission under the Department of Finance ;and <br /> WHEREAS, the department is responsible for providing the staff to manage lands acquired <br /> by the County and to minimize use of outside agents; and <br /> WHEREAS, to best fullful this responsibility, aProperty Manager position and a Clerk III <br /> position are being created for the new Property Management Division under the Department of <br /> Finance; and <br /> WHEREAS, a Property Manager position will serve as the department liaison to the <br /> Commission and will also coordinate activity related to easements, encroachments, acquisition and <br /> disposal of other County properties; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Property Manager will also be tasked with managing all aspects of real <br /> property (exclusive of facilities) activity for the County; and <br /> WHEREAS, a Clerk III position is needed to assist with the current activities related to <br /> easements, encroachments, acquisition and disposal of other County properties; to take minutes at <br /> the Commission meetings; and to provide other support to the Commission outside of the <br /> meetings; and <br /> WHEREAS, there should be sufficient funds in the Department of Finance Property <br /> Management's Regular Salaries and Wages account (010-121-5129.01-011); and <br /> <br />
