Jim McLay, Principal and Director, J.K. McLay Limited <br /> Please find attached a Resolution which would extend an invitation to the Hon. Jim McLay, <br /> Principal and Director, J.K. McLay Limited, to address the Committee on Human Services and <br /> Economic Development. Mr. McLay is an internationally renown expert on re-engineering <br /> government. I believe having him address the members of our County Council would be <br /> extremely enlightening. <br /> I am respectfully requesting that this Resolution be waived from the Committee on Finance so <br /> that the Council may take appropriate action. The reason a waiver is necessary is that Mr. McLay <br /> will be in Hawaii in early November and may be available to address the Committee on Human <br /> Services and Economic Development at the November 4, 1997, meeting.
