It seems fitting that, as stated on Parker <br /> Ranch's intereet site, Parker Ranch's plan for the Town Center is now simply called the <br /> "Waimea Town Center Plan", and not, as Richard Smart named it based on his vision and <br /> commitment to the Waimea Community, the Parker Ranch 2020 Plan. <br /> <br /> I understand that Chris Kanazawa, your CEO, has approached a number of public <br /> officials to say that Parker Ranch is ready to start cooperating regarding the Town Center <br /> Road. I hope that you, as Trustees of the Richard Smart Foundation Trust, seriously <br /> consider agreeing to, and immediately acting upon, the Town Center Road completion <br /> schedule suggested in this letter. <br /> <br /> The Reason for my Involvement in this Town Center Road Issue <br /> Every day I watch residents from all over this County suffer in long lines of <br /> traffic on their way through Waimea. Emergency vehicles are blocked with no alternate <br /> way around the Lindsey Road choke point. School children are at high risk. As a <br /> concerned member of this community, my interest is to help reduce the suffering and <br /> safety risks resulting from this traffic crisis.
