REQUEST: <br /> Request to amend Ordinance 06-80, Capital Improvement budget, to add the following project: <br /> Kealakehe Wastewater Treatment Plant Aeration Upgrade -County $300,000 <br /> B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> A Project Data/Financial Impact Statement is attached. <br /> Upgrade of the Kealakehe Wastewater Treatment Plant Aeration system is required to be provided since <br /> existing Biological oxygen Demand (BOD) and Total Suspended Solids (TSS) mass loading to the facility are <br /> higher than the plant was originally designed for resulting in a reduction of plant treatment capacity to treat <br /> wastewater coming to the plant.
