<br /> The Honorable James Arakaki <br /> SUBJECT: Change of Zone Application for ICeauhou Resort, Parcel 53 <br /> February 25, 1998 <br /> Page 2 <br /> Regarding the Preliminary Subdivision Plan, this plan was updated following a review of <br /> the archaeological sites recommended for preservation within the subject parcel. In our <br /> review we found three sites that were not indicated on the previous plan. One site, a cart <br /> road remnant(#6400), is located among several other sites within the proposed <br /> archaeological reserve area. The other two sites, ahabitation/agricultural complex <br /> (#4665) and a trail remnant (#4654), are located in the southwestern portion within <br /> the area being considered for an elderly housing/assisted living facility and proposed for <br /> RM-2.0 zoning. <br /> <br /> Although the presence of these features should not significantly impact the development <br /> plans for this area, we wanted to bring this matter to your attention and provide you <br /> with an updated copy of the Preliminary Subdivision Plan which includes these sites and <br /> their reference numbers. <br /> Please do not hesitate to call either myself (961-3333) or Mr. Steve Lim, Esq., <br /> (935-6644) should you have any questions regarding the attached. <br /> Sincerely, <br /> ~J~ <br /> J MES M.
