According to the Agricultural Lands of Importance to the State of Hawaii (AL[SH) <br /> classification system, the proposed area is not classified as Prime, Unique or Other <br /> Important Agricultural Land. <br /> Z0. According to the Land Study Bureau Overall Productivity Ratings system, the area has <br /> a Class `E" rating, very poor. <br /> 21. The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM) has designated <br /> the property to be in zone "X", outside of the flood plain <br /> PUBLIC FACILITIES AND UTILITIES <br /> 22. The property is located on Palani Road, all five lots wilt have access to Palani from <br /> two proposed driveways. Please see the enclosed site plan. <br /> 23. The Department of Water Supply has advised us there is adequate source development <br /> to provide service to the proposed subdivision from an 8" line that fronts the property <br /> on Palani Road. <br /> 21. This area is not serviced by a municipal sewer system. Domestic sewage disposal will <br /> be by individual wastewater treatment systems approved by the State Department of <br /> Health. <br /> 25. Both telephone and electrical service can be made available to the property from <br /> Palani Road that fronts the property. <br /> 26. The main Kona police station is 5 miles from the property and the nearest fire station <br /> is located 3.0 miles away at the intersection of Palani Road and Queen Kaahumanu <br /> Highway. <br /> 27. Primary, middle and secondary schools are located within the Kelakehe area. <br /> 28. A major recreational facility, the Old Kona Airport Park, is located four miles from the <br /> site with neighborhood recreational facilities available less than one mile away at the <br /> Kealakehe School. <br /> <br /> 29. The applicant intends to install a drainage system that meets with the approval of the <br /> Department of Public Works (DPW), that will dispose of all on-site drainage. <br /> <br />
