Overall runoff is slow, <br /> and the erosion hazard is slight. <br /> These lands are gently sloping to moderately steep soils on uplands at an elevation <br /> ranging from 3,000 to 5,000 feet. This soil is used for pasture and for wildlife habitat. <br /> 12. Land Study Bureau: The Land Study Bureau's overall master productivity rating for <br /> agricultural use is Class "B" or Good. <br /> 13. Fauna and Flora Resources: The applicant's Environmental Report states in summary <br /> that due to the extensive alteration of the project site by previous bulldozing activities, <br /> significant historical sites or features and the presence of endangered species of plants <br /> or animals are not anticipated to be located within the subject property. <br /> 14. Archaeological Resources: The applicant's Environmental Report states in summary <br /> that no historic sites were present on the parcel. The proposed action will not have any <br /> effect on significant historic sites. Nevertheless, a condition will be included to require <br /> the notification of the Planning Department should archaeological sites be encountered <br /> during the course of development. <br /> <br /> PTTRT T(' TITTLITIES A_ND SERVICES <br /> 15. Access: Access to the project site is off Mamalahoa Highway which has aright-of-way <br /> width of 60 feet with 20 feet of pavement. It has posted speed limit of 25 miles per <br /> hour. <br /> 16. Water: Water is provided by a 1 ~/:-inch meter that fronts the project site. <br /> 17. Wastewater: Wastewater is presently disposed of into existing cesspools on the site. <br /> The Health Department found no environmental health concerns with regulatory <br /> implications in the submittals. <br /> 18. Utilities: Electrical and telephone service will be made available to the property. <br /> <br /> AGF.N OMMENTS <br /> 19. Police Department (September 24, 1997 Memo): <br /> "We have reviewed the application for a change of zone and do not believe the request <br /> will negatively impact traffic safety or police services in the area." <br /> -4- <br /> <br />
