Below is the procedure that needs to be followed under the Sunshine Law as well as some options fir tasks to assign to the task force to report back on, based upon the discussion on Resolution 295-07 held at the September 6, 2007 Council meeting. To comply with the Sunshine Law, this communication will be agendized as a discussion to consider the establishment of a task force to discuss implementation of Resolution 295-07 which was passed at the September 6 Council meeting. Procedure under HRS &92-2.5 (1) The task force must be created during an official meeting of the Council. (2) The task force can consist of 2-4 members of the Council. (3) The matter assigned to the task force has to be related to official business. (4) The scope of the investigation and of each member's authority must be defined at the meeting. C Comm: ~ ~ ' Ref.
