These two items are included within <br /> [he limits of the new no parking zone. A location map is attached. <br /> Mrs. Phoebe Lambeth, Chief Operations Officer of the Hilo Medical Center, said [hat the new parking lot was <br /> constructed for employee parking. Previously, many employees parked in the visitor parking lot directly across the <br /> street from the hospital and took away parking for visitors. Effective April 1, 1998, they intend to strictly enforce <br /> [he employee parking at the hospital to insure that both employees and visitors have ample parking. She is in favor <br /> of prohibiting parking along Waianuenue Avenue, especially for [he safety of vehicles exiting from the driveways. <br /> We ask for your review and consideration of the subject amendment.
