However, upon further review of the island-wide custodial and <br /> groundskeeping services requirements, it has been determined, due to the extensive travel time <br /> between South Hilo and Ka'0, that there should be a part-time Custodian/Groundskeeper I (3/5T) <br /> position stationed in Ka'u to service sites in Pahala, N5'51ehu, Hawaiian Ocean View Estates and <br /> Pahoa. <br /> Enclosed is a resolution that creates the Custodian/Groundskeeper I (3/5T) position for the <br /> Department of Public Works. <br /> Due to the time limitation of creating this new position for the Department of Public Works, they <br /> request a waiver from the Finance Committee and have this resolution heard at the Council <br /> meeting scheduled for January 9, 2008. <br /> If there are, any questions, please do not hesitate to call the Department of Public Works. <br /> <br /> <br /> William Taka a <br /> Director of Finance <br /> <br /> APPROVED: <br /> <br /> llo/ <br /> <br /> Harry Kim <br /> Mayor Comm.
