Why were manpower needs not planned through budgetary process? <br /> <br /> The Traffic Division is currently requesting this position in their 2008-2009 supplemental <br /> budget, however, the program has grown extensively within the last few months, <br /> creating the need to fill the position immediately. If this position is approved in 2007- <br /> 2008, the division will remove the request for the position from the supplemental <br /> budget. <br /> <br /> <br /> 6. List other rationale or pertinent statements and data: <br /> <br /> The Traffic Division is requesting this position to address the traffic calming concerns <br /> of the Council and County Administration.
