Description of Facilities or Plans to Secure Facilities <br /> <br /> Agreement has been reached to use these facilities: <br /> 1) Ocean View--The Ka'u Kids are housed at the Hawaiian Ocean View Community Association <br /> Clubhouse. The center has a stage and limited sound system that they allow the group to use. <br /> 2) Na' alehu--Principal, Peter Volpe, has welcomed the project which will be housed ina new <br /> portable classroom. Security grills on classroom windows will be installed. <br /> 3) Huliau O Kau has a 3-acre farm back of its offices, all provided by Ka'u Agribusiness. The <br /> poi machine will be used during their summer youth ag project. During the school year, the poi <br /> machine will be housed by the VocTech Dept. at Ka'u High School, where Future Fanners of <br /> America students raise taro. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> 4 <br />
