Counties will be able to promote their islands as pre or post conference
destinations for the WIR Conference in Juneau and the Annual Conference in
Portland. The next NACo/WIR Board Meeting will be at the Legislative
Conference on Sunday afternoon. First Vice President Dennis Nakamura
volunteered to be the Legislative Conference Gift Coordinator. Each county
needs to provide 24 items for the Aloha Packages.

Second Vice-President Ron Kouchi reported that the NACo Board Members were
asking for feed back on whether or not the counties have any plans about the
millennium.
